Afrin: Syrian Revolution in Syrian Kurdistan 2011

The Syrian Revolution in Syrian Kurdistan on 28.06.2011: The Kurdish population of Syria in the current crisis demonstrates mostly peacefully for reform, democracy and equality. Here in the city of Afrin, the population shows its strong solidarity with the state against terror, for peace against war and for freedom from prosecution.

Die syrische Revolution in syrischem Kurdistan am 28.06.2011: Die kurdische Bevölkerung Syriens demonstriert in der jetzigen Krise meistens friedlich für Reformen, Demokratie und Gleichheit. Hier in der Stadt Afrin zeigt die Bevölkerung ihre starke Solidarität mit dem Staat gegen Terror, für Frieden gegen Krieg und für Freiheit gegen Verfolgung.

A demonstration for democratic and constitutional reforms in Syria on 01.06.2011 in the town of Afrin. A Kurdish nationalist conservative party is calling for the recognition and equal rights of the Kurdish population in the state constitution and politics in Syria. The participants call for an end to the oppression of Arabs in Kurdish Syria.

Eine Demonstration für demokratische und rechtstaatliche Reformen in Syrien am 01.06.2011 in der Stadt Afrin. Hier fordert eine nationalkonservative kurdische Partei die Anerkennung und Gleichberechtigung der kurdischen Bevölkerung in der Verfassung und Staatspolitik Syriens. Die Teilnehmer fordern das Ende der Unterdrückung durch Araber im kurdischen Syrien.

The current political developments in Syria exert great influence on the lives of people in the region Afrin also (Kurd-Dagh) from. The politically active people respond differently to the challenges: Here glances at meetings of mayors in the region and city Afrin. A delegation of mayors of the city Afrin is on 17.08.2011 received by President Bashar Al-Assad at the presidential palace in Damascus, they want peace, do not fault!
